Hi. My name is Robert Gray and I am originally from Sacramento, California. After the age of five I moved to Folsom, California and have lived here ever since. For as long as I can remember I have been physically active. Some of my first childhood memories are going to the park with my Uncle Jim and playing any number of sports for hours and hours. This was the beginning of a life dedicated to sports of all kinds.
As a youngster, I started out doing gymnastics. Soon there after I made the switch to Taekwondo and ended up reaching First Degree Black Belt. At the same time as Karate I started playing organized soccer and basketball. Once I started baseball, something had to give. I gave up Karate and focused on the the others. I was playing some type of sport year around, and when I wasn't at practice or games, I was tiredlessly playing outside running and jumping.
After a couple of years of soccer, I started playing football. I instantly fell in love with everything about the game. From then on football was my number one concern, with basketball being a close second.
A torn ACL and Maniscus at the age of 12 and the subsequent surgery and rehabilitation there after gave me my first exposure to fitness and the wonders of the human body. When I entered high school at Folsom, I began working out at the local 24 Hour Fitness and lifting for the football team.
